We are continually purchasing / Testing / Evaluating and finally selecting dogs here at Sauk River. Those that meet our criteria have become part of the Sauk River Program. Keep in mind that we value actual traits over titles in our selection The Dogs listed here have obviously met our criteria. We won't sell dogs that we wouldn't keep ourselves. RETIRED DOGS

CONGRATULATIONS to ASPEN, TEKA and SOLO! all three have retired or will be retiring soon and are IN NEED OF HOMES where they can enjoy the rest of their lives as family/hunting/companion dogs.   We are late in getting ASPEN & TEKA advertised,   ASPEN was retired in the fall 2021 and would love to be a part of someones family.   She would do best in a home where she is the only pet, she's getting up there in age and gets a bit grumpy with other dogs from time to time. TEKA was retired this winter of 2022 she is a gentle, easy going dog and would get along with other dogs and kids very well.   SOLO isn't retired yet but will be in September.   She has some get up and go still in her and would get along very well in a family that is active, hunts, walks,   she would love it all.
