Sauk River retrievers is seeking an Assistant Trainer...
who has a long term goal to work his / her way to a full time Partnership / part ownership of Sauk River Retrievers.
This is a chance to work in a fun Christian environment. A good part of the work is outdoor work in a beautiful setting in Central Minnesota along the Sauk River.
Duties will include Obedience Training, Gundog Training, Customer Service, Chore Work.
We can offer some flexible scheduling of work, and alternate weekends off.
A good deal of vacation time during hunting season.
The successful candidate will...
1. Have a passion for serving people.
2. Have a record of Honesty, Hard work, and the initiative to work independently.
3. Complete a 2-month internship period with 4 hours per day employment and 4 hours per day training with
David learning the Sauk River System.
.... There will be no charge for the training received here.
4. Demonstrate a desire to learn an extremely successful / unique training system.
5. Complete a 2-month internship with 4 hours per day employment and 4 hours per day internship.
6. Be willing to relocate to the Osakis area
***Some experience preferred. David can teach a person who has a passion to learn this craft, and a passion to serve clients.

This is a chance to work outdoors in a beautiful setting with some of the best pointing labs in the country. The training year schedule allows plenty of days off for hunting time in the fall.
We are interested only in people who have the desire to work their way into a long-term relationship here. Pay will be low to start. There is opportunity to significantly increase your income if you work hard.
The pace of advance will depend on the ability to demonstrate effectiveness in training at a high level. This is not a summer job or a chance to learn our system. Serious applicants only please.
